How to add Gmail to Outlook on a PC

1. With your Outlook inbox open, click on the 'File' tab in the upper left corner of the screen.

2. Click on 'Add account.'

3. Type the Gmail address you want to add to your Outlook account, then click 'Connect.'

It might take a few minutes to fully load.

4. The next steps involve signing into your Gmail account. Type in your Gmail address again and click 'Next.'

5. Type in your password and click 'Sign in.'

Add an email account

If you haven't already set up an email account in Mail, you might be prompted to add one when you open the app. If you're not prompted, or you just want to add another account, follow these steps:

1. From the menu bar in Mail, choose Mail > Add Account.
2. Select your email provider from the list, then click Continue.
3. Some accounts, such as Google, might ask that you click Open Browser to complete authentication in your web browser.
