• Work offline permission must be enabled for the user account on the FirstClass Server.
• Multi-site Setup on the FirstClass server should be configured to do periodic full directory syncs / on demand syncs, so that the user's FirstClass Personal directory is kept in sync of that on the FirstClass server.

C. Installation

1 You must have a correctly installed version of the shipping FirstClass® Client 9.106 for Mac OS X before proceeding.
2 Download the FCPERS91B611INTEL.dmg archive into a temporary folder.
4 Once installation is complete you can remove the archives and the temporary folder.

D. Release Notes

• Mailbox synchronization.
• Containers are not synched during the initial Personal synch. Only directory synching is done. This allows the user to select the container/s they want to synch and or turn on logging.
• Personal no longer runs the CPU at 100%. Laptop batteries should last considerably longer when running Personal.

Fixes:
• Time zone setting preferences from the user's account should now be configured properly on the Personal server account.
• NDNs should no longer be generated if the user's Personal directory does not include the participants found in synched events.
• According to Personal's log, the Audit was suppose to run after Personal shutdown, but the audit did not actually run.
• Cancel button on Replication form now works.
• Account registration: Passwords no longer limited to 12 bytes.
• Very old Personal Post Offices did not have the MailBox subtype set. Because of this, Personal has been changed to open the Personal user's MailBox by FID instead of type.
• Numerous changes made for supporting extended characters.

• On initial install, the FirstClass Personal server will run in a non UTF8 enabled mode, it will however automatically switch to an UTF8 enabled mode if connecting to a UTF8 enabled FirstClass Server.
• After initial sync, a log off / log in is required for personal Time Zone settings to function properly.
• Replication window displays synching other containers on initial sync, even though no syncing is done during the initial sync.
• Replication window displays synching other containers after pressing stop button, though no syncing is done
• While replicating, extended characters display as corrupted in the replication window.
• Mailbox synchronization: Syncing of subfolders not supported at this time.
• Mailbox synchronization: Synched items unsent from Personal don't get unsent on the server.
• Contacts: After syncing contacts to Personal from the server a log off / log in is required for the contacts to become visible in the personal directory.
• Contacts: Corrupt extended characters in contacts (only on non UTF servers)
• Contacts: Syncing of contact databases not supported at this time.
• Offline Conferences: Mail moved to the conference manually or by a file in folder rule will not replicate. Does not affect mail forwarded or redirected to the conference.
• Offline Conferences: Only unread items will replicate.
• Offline Conferences: Long conference names are truncated when replicated to Personal server from Offline Conferences folder.
• Offline Conferences: Non UTF Documents with names containing extended characters cause naming issues in Offline conference creation, if the conference name contains extended characters.
• Calendars: Syncing of punch through calendars not supported at this time.
